Puppy Head Start

6- week course for dogs 8 weeks to 4 months old

In this class, dogs will learn basic behaviors that will get them on the road to being a well-mannered member of the family.

• Week 1 - Orientation This will be without puppies. We will discuss what clicker training is and how the course will go.

• Week 2 - No jumping, crate training, eye contact/pay attention to me

• Week 3 - Touch/targeting, no biting

• Week 4 - Sit, stay, settle/go to mat

• Week 5 - Loose leash walking, recall/come

• Week 6 - We will put it all together, do a final test, and have graduation or if weather permits, we will have a field trip to practice in a new environment.

• Investment: $220 + tax

  • Classes will be offered depending on enrollment

    • First class is orientation without dogs. Orientation may run longer than 1 hour.
