Basic Manners

This 6-week class is for the older puppy who hasn’t had any training or a newly adopted dog. You will learn basic behaviors that any well behaved dog needs.

• Week 1 - orientation without dogs. We will be discussing clicker training, answer questions, and talk about the class.

• Week 2 - Eye contact, Settle/go to mat

• Week 3 - Sit, stay, no jumping

• Week 4 - Loose leash walking, recall/come, wait/boundary training

• Week 5 - Touch/targeting, leave it, counter surfing

• Week 6 - We’ll put it all together, have a final test and graduation.

  • Investment: $200 + tax

  • Classes will be offered depending on interest and enrollment

    • First class is orientation without dogs. Orientation may run longer than 1 hour.
